The market is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. 'til about 2 p.m., mid-July to mid-October. Call ahead to confirm days and hours of operation and special event dates.

Green Road Gold Maple Syrup

15 miles west of Alpena off of M-32 on Green Rd.  This small family-run tree farm produces maple syrup in a maple woods setting. Visitors are welcome to come and tour the operation during production season, which runs roughly from about March 10-April 10.  More information and the uninitiated please call. MacArthur Maple Syrup

This large family-run maple syrup operation is on a Centennial Farm located on McNeil Road northwest of Long Rapids.  Take M-32 or Long Rapids Road west, north on M-65, northwest on Leer Road, west on MacArthur road, and north on McNeil 1 1/2 miles on the right.  Production season is approximately March 10 - April 10. MacArthur Maple Syrup is available year ‘round.
