"I have several friends who live in the Chicago area and other nearby areas who have seen the ads.  They all note that they are instantly homesick whenever they hear them.  I hope that they are as effective on those who have never been to Michigan and will bring more tourists here.

 My favorite ad that I have heard so far is the Alpena one.  It actually made me tear up, which was a wild experience.  I think the link to rough times and shelters from the storms of life got me.  At any rate, I always like to note good work when I see it.  Being a marketer myself, I really appreciate this take on Michigan.  Now more that ever, it is important to highlight the assets of our beautiful state."
